The last Will and Testament nuncupative of Henry Atkyns of Colompton in the countie of Devon by him made the xxxth daye of January in the yeare of our Lord God accordinge to the computation of the Church of England 1612 and in the tenth yeare of the raigne of King James of England etc.
The said Henry Atkyns being moved by Lawrence Webber and the presence and hearinge of Mary the wife of Robert Knight als Gird and daughter of the said Atkyns and of Johane Knight als Gird daughter of the said Marye to make his Will did give unto his said daughter Mary his grounde att Swyneland in Colompton aforesaid for terme of her life yf she should live one thousand yeares
And after her death to her daughter [ ] Knight als Gird for terme of her life. And after her death to Agnes Knight als Gird one other of the daughters of the said Mary for terme of her life
And the said Henry Atkins did make and appoynt Johane then wife of the said Henry Atkyns to be his executrix of his will but said that she should not meddle with Swynes grounde nor with a [quillett] of grounde which he had bought of one Pigott these being witnesses Lawrence Webber Mary Gird marke Joan Gird
