Will of Mary Bilbie late of Cullompton, Spinster

I Mary Bilbie spinster now of the parish of Collumpton in the county of Devon do make declare and publish this my last Will and Testament

First after the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I do give and bequeath to my sister Sarah Bilbie the sum of one hundred pounds

I also give and bequeath to my sister Francis Salter twenty pounds

I also give and bequeath to my sister Maria Bilbie the sum of twenty pounds

I also give and bequeath to my sister Harriet Bilbie twenty pounds

All other money and effects of which I may die possessed after the aforesaid sums have been paid I do give and bequeath to my sisters Eliza Bilbie and Sarah Bilbie as long as they shall remain unmarried and I do will that they shall divide the same equally between them

But if my sister Eliza Bilbie or Sarah Bilbie should marry I do will that she gives up to the one remaining unmarried the share of my property thus given and should both of my sisters Eliza Bilbie Sarah Bilbie marry I do will that all my five sisters shall divide the whole of my property between them excepting one hundred pounds which I have given in the former part of this my Will to my sister Sarah Bilbie

And I do constitute and appoint my two sisters Eliza Bilbie and Sarah Bilbie to be my executrixes and executors of this my last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and subscribed my name this 12 day of February in a year of our Lord 1829 Mary Bilbie

Signed in the presence of us Wm Gabriel surgeon of Cullompton Charlotte Gabriel Devon

Proved at London 26th of May 1840 before the worshipful John Daubery Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oaths of Eliza Bilbie and Sarah Bilbie sprs the sisters the executrixes to whom admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer
