I James Bowerman of Cullompton in the county of Devon innholder do hereby revoke all wills codicils and other testamentary dispositions made by me at any time or times heretofore and do publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament
I direct my debts funeral and testamentary expenses to be paid out of my real and personal estate and subject thereto I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my wife Anne Bowerman absolutely but as to estates invested in me upon trust or by way of mortgage subject to the equities affecting the same respectively and I appoint her sole executrix of this my Will
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty fifth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three Jas Bowerman
Signed by the said testator James Bowerman as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses Robert Dennis Joseph Foster
Proved at London 23rd Jany 1844 before the Worshipful William Calverley Curtis Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Ann (in theWill written Anne) Bowerman widow the relict the sole executrix to whom admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer
