In the name of God Amen I Alice Brutton wife of Edward Brutton of Cullompton in the county of Devon make this is the last Will and Testament

Whereas my late dear aunt Alice Selleck deceased has in and by her last Will and Testament given and devised to or in trust for me the Perpetuity of the Living and Right of Presentation to the Church of Cullompton with the appurtenances and the Great Tythes of Cullompton and also the dwelling house in which she lived with a power to me to give and bequeath the same

I do therefore in pursuance of such power give devise and bequeath all and singular the aforesaid premises together with all other my real estate and property whatsoever and wheresoever with their and every of their rights hereditaments and appurtenances to my said most dearly beloved husband his heirs and assigns for ever for his own sole use power and disposal

And I also give unto my said husband the six hundred pounds reserved by my marriage settlement and all other my effects whatsoever and do hereby appoint him executor of this my Will all this as a token of gratitude and great affection for the most uncommon kindness of temper and the constantly kind and tender testament I have ever received from him and which I am sensible has alone preserved my life a great number of years in spite of an over tormenting distemper I wish I had a better return to make him

In witness whereof I have fixed my hand and seal this fifth day of June one thousand eight hundred and seven in the presence of three witnesses whom I have desired to attest the same

Alice Brutton
