Proved in the Registry of the Archdeaconry Court of Exeter 11th July 1823
John Burton Broom of Kentisbeare in the county of Devon, yeoman the sole executor named in the last Will and Testament of Michael Burton late of Cullompton in the said county, yeoman who died on first day of February 1823
This is the last Will and Testament of me Michael Burton of Cullompton in the county of Devon yeoman
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rebecca the wife of Henry Ellicott one guinea to be paid by my executor hereinafter named in three months after my decease
All the rest residue and remainder of my money securities for money goods chattles and effects of what kind or nature soever I give and bequeath unto my grandson John Burton Broom and my granddaughter Sarah Burton Broom share and share alike
And I nominate constitute and appoint my said grandson John Burton Broom sole executor of this my Will hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills by me heretofore made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty ninth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one
