Memorandumn that upon or about the last daye of March Anno Dm 1613 Simon Crocker of Collompton in the countie of Devon bachellor beinge of a perfect minde and memory did by word of mouth utter and declare this Testament nuncupative in manner as followeth or the like in effect
First he do bequeath his soule into the handes of Allmightie God and his bodie to be buried
Item he do give to the poore people of Collompton tenn shillings and to the church of Collompton hee do give also tenn shillings
Item he do give unto his brother Ellis Crocker his lease and the fee simple of [Hume] Cross to his sister Anne he gave xx s
All the rest of his goods (his debts and legacies being paid) he willed and gave to his two sisters unmarried
And he nominated his said brother Ellis Crocker to be his executor and words for the like in effect weare by the said Simon Crocker unto him the said Ellis in the presence and hearing of Christopher Penrie and John Bevercombe
