In the name of God Amen the twentieth day of ffebruary in the eight and twentith year of the reigne of our Soveraigne Ladye Elizabeth by the grace of God of England ffrance and Ireland Queen Defender of the faith etc.

I William Crosse of Collompton in the County of Devon being of wholle and perfect memorye thanks be to God doe make this my last Will and Testament in writing as followeth

ffirst I will and bequeath my soule to Almighty God and my bodye to be buryed in the holye churchyard of Collompton aforesaid whenever it shall please God to take me out of this world.

Item I give and bequeathe to the church of Collompton three shillings four pence

Item I give and bequeathe to the Almshouse of Collompton aforesaid three shillings four pence

Item I give and bequeathe to my my sister Thomazine forty shillings

Item I will and bequeathe to Marye Delbridge daughter of Phillipp Delbridge of Barnstaple in the aforesaid County of Devon, mercer all the residue of my goods and chattells not bequeathed. And I do make my wholle executrix

And for fine performance hereof I will and constitute John Thomas of Collompton gent my [ ]and George Peard of Barnstaple aforesaid gentleman to be overseers of this my last Will and Testament irrevocable.

In witness whereof upon the daye and yeare above written I have putt to my hand and seale William Crosse
