This is the last Will and Testament of me Sarah Dunn of Cullompton in the county of Devon widow

First I give and bequeath unto Henry Drake Brain of number 9 Bloomfield Terrace Pimlico in the county of Middlesex gentleman all my monies securities for money and all that may be due to me from my annuity and everything that I may die possessed of in trust as follows

I give and bequeath unto Charlotte wife of William Davis of Cullompton aforesaid superannuated officer of excise the sum of ten pounds

And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my effects I give and bequeath the same after payment of my just debts funeral expenses and the expense of proving this my Will unto my nieces hereinafter mentioned namely unto my niece Jane Brain wife of the said Henry Drake Brain unto my niece Mary Anne Mayo wife of Samuel Mayo of Chard in the county of Somerset plumber and glazier unto my niece Mary Ann Bradnack wife of Isaac Robinson Bradnack of Great Yarmouth in the county of Norfolk grocer unto my niece Anne Chatterton of number 12 Brewer Street Somers Town in the county of Middlesex spinster and unto my niece Maria Forster now of the city of Bristol spinster to be divided between them share and share alike and I direct that all the legacies by me given shall be paid as soon as convenient after my decease

And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint him the said Henry Drake Brain executor in trust of this my last Will and Testament and he shall not be answerable for any loss or miscarriage by any security or securities that may happen in my estate and that he shall retain all his cost charges damages and expenses out of the effects in him vested in and by this my Will and the trusts therein contained

In witness whereof I the said Sarah Dunn have hereunto subscribe my name this first day of September one thousand eight hundred and fifty one Sarah Dunn

Signed published and declared by the said testatrix Sarah Dunn as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto Henry Hill Henry Hill Jr

Proved at London 22nd Jany 1852 before the worshipful Frederick Thomas Pratt Doctor of Laws and surrogate by the oath of Henry Drake Brain the sole executor to whom admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer
