Estate Duty Office Will of Edward Foweraker formerly of Cullompton, but late of Maker, Devon Whitebreadbaker (1815)

Proved in the Principal Registry of the Lord Bishop of Exeter the 10th of March 1815

Executor who proved the Will William Foweraker of same son Power reserved to Edward Foweraker of same son the other executor

This is the last Will and Testament of me Edward Foweraker late of Cullompton in the county of Devon but now of Kingsand in the parish of Maker in the said county whitebread baker

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Foweraker her executors and administrators the sum of fifty pounds to be paid to her by my executors hereinafter named in two years next after my decease

And I give and bequeath all my real and personal estate monies securities for money household furniture books linen wearing and other apparel goods and chattels whatsoever and wheresoever unto my two sons William Foweraker and Edward Foweraker their heirs executors administrators and assigns to hold to them the said William Foweraker and Edward Foweraker their heirs executors administrators and assigns as tenants in common and not as joint tenants

Subject to the payment of the before mentioned legacy of fifty pounds to my daughter Ann and to the payment of all such debts as shall be due and owing by me to any person or persons whomsoever by specially simple contract or otherwise howsoever at the time of my decease or which shall afterwards accrue due and the interest of such debts as shall be carry interest and also to the payment and discharge of my funeral expenses

And I appoint the said William Foweraker and Edward Foweraker joint executors and residuary devisees and legatees of this my Will

In witness whereof I have to this my Will contained in one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten Edwd Foweraker

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Edward Foweraker the testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses
