Proved 25th January 1847 in the Archdeaconry Court of Exeter
Appeared personally Thomas Turner of the parish of Cullompton in the county of Devon weaver and John Elworthy of the same place, woolcomber the executors named in the last Will and Testament of Hannah Fry of the parish of Cullompton aforesaid widow deceased who died on the eighteenth day of January 1847
This is the last Will and Testament of me Hannah Fry of Cullompton in the county of Devon widow which I publish and declare as follows
I give unto Charlotte Tarrington of Tiverton in the county of Devon spinster Hannah Basten the wife of Samuel Basten of Ottery Saint Mary in the said county wheelwright and Thirza Tarrington spinster now residing near London my nieces the sum of nineteen pounds sterling each which said legacies I direct to paid by my executors in trust hereinafter named within twelve months next after my decease or sooner if they can obtain the money to arise from the sale of the premises hereinafter mentioned
I give and bequeath unto Thomas Turner of Cullompton aforesaid weaver and John Elworthy of the same place woolcomber their executors administrators and assigns all those my three leasehold cottages or dwelling houses situate in Crow Green in the town of Cullompton aforesaid now in the several occupations of myself Richard Cross and William Taylor weaver
Also all my household goods furniture money and effects and all money due to me on bond note or otherwise together with the securities thereof which I shall die possessed of upon trust with all convenient speed after my decease to sell and dispose of my said three cottages or dwelling houses either by public auction or private contract for the best price or prices that can be obtained for the same together or in lots as they shall see fit
Also to dispose of such other of my household goods and effects as shall be in their nature saleable And to call in collect and receive all monies due to me on bond note or other kind of security and out of the monies to be received and realized in manner aforesaid in the first place to pay all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses the expenses of proving this my Will and the executorship
And the balance or surplus money remaining after such payments and the payment of the said three legacies so given as aforesaid I direct and empower my said trustees to pay unto and equally divide between my nephews Joseph Tarrington and Henry Tarrington both of Cullompton aforesaid weavers and my niece Sarah Bryant the wife of Samuel Bryant of the city of Exeter shopkeeper
And I hereby declare that the receipt or receipts of my said trustees or the survivor of them for any money payable under this my Will shall effectually discharge the person or persons paying the same
And I hereby appoint the said Thomas Turner and John Elworthy executors in trust for fulfilling the purposes of this my Will hereby revoking all other Wills In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirteenth day of December one thousand eight hundred and forty three

Signed by the said testatrix as her last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses
