Proved in the Registry of the Archdeaconry of Exeter the 8th of September 1819

Sarah Hoare of Cullompton in the county of Devon the widow and sole executrix named in the last Will and Testament of William Hoare late of the same place white bread baker who died on the fourteenth day of July 1819

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Hoare of Cullompton in in the county of Devon white bread baker

I give devise and bequeath unto my dear wife Sarah and her assigns for and during her natural life all that my dwelling house bakehouse and offices adjoining with all and singular its appurtenances situate in Cullompton aforesaid being part and parcel of a certain tenement called the New Inn subject to and with the payment of the interest of the mortgage money due thereon during her life

And from and immediately after her death I give devise and bequeath all and singular the said promises unto my granddaughter Sarah Matthews her executors administrators and assigns

And my will is that my said wife shall maintain and keep the said premises in good and sufficient repair and insured from fire in some good office of insurance

Provided nevertheless and it is my express will and meaning that if the mortgage money which is now due on the said premises shall happen to be called in in the lifetime of my said wife and the premises sold or disposed of for the payment thereof then and in that case and not otherwise I hereby give devise and bequeath the said dwelling house bakehouse and offices with all and singular the appurtenances (subject to the mortgage) unto my said wife her executors administrators and assigns

All the rest residue and remainder of my estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind and quality soever the same may be after payment of all my debts (except the said mortgage money) funeral expenses and the expense of proving this my Will I do hereby give and bequeath unto my dear wife the said Sarah Hoare her executors administrators and assigns and I do constitute and appoint her sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me made and ratifying this alone to be my last

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixteen Willm Hoare

Signed sealed published and declared by the said testator William Hoare as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto in his presence at his request and in presence of each other
