Proved in the Principal Registry of the Lord Bishop of Exeter the 28th July 1848

Appeared personally Mary Hole of the town of Cullompton in the county of Devon widow the sole executrix named in the last Will and Testament of James Hole late of Cullompton aforesaid painter plumber and glazier deceased who died on the 29th day of January 1848

This is the last Will and Testament of me James Hole of Cullompton in the county of Devon painter plumber and glazier

I give and bequeath unto my wife Mary all my household goods and furniture stock in trade monies securities for money and every thing that I may die possessed of during her life subject nevertheless to the payment of my just debts funeral expenses and the expense of proving this my Will

And from and immediately after her decease I give and bequeath unto Frances Arnoll Stark daughter of John Stark of Cullompton aforesaid builder the sum of twenty pounds

Also I give and bequeath unto Charlotte Jarman daughter of Elias Jarman of the same place builder the sum of twenty pounds and I hereby charge all that I may die possessed of to and with the payment of the same

And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Mary whole and sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament set and subscribed my hand and seal this fourth day of October one thousand eight hundred and thirty four The mark and seal of James Hole

Signed sealed published and declared by the said testator James Hole as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto
