This is the last Will and Testament of me Amy Huish of Cullompton in the county of Devon widow as follows

First I give and devise unto the Reverend Francis Huish of Clisthydon in the said county clerk all my estate right title and interest of in and to to undivided fifth parts (the whole into five equal parts to be divided) of all that tenement or overland situate and lying in Cullompton aforesaid commonly called or known by the name of Bones Ground now in the possession of Mr John Bussell as tenant to me (except nevertheless out of this devise such part of the said tenement or overland as I hold by lease determinable on lives) to hold unto the said Francis Huish his heirs executors administrators and assigns for and during all my estate rights titles and interest therein

Also I give unto my niece Honor Lewis the sum of one hundred pounds

Also I give unto my nephew George Parson the son of one hundred pounds

Also unto my nephew Thomas Parson unto my great nephew [ ] Parson and unto his sister Marianne Parson ten guineas each all which said several legacies I hereby direct to be respectively paid in six calendar months next after my decease

And it is my express will and desire and I do hereby order that the survey for sale of my household goods and furniture (if the same shall be sold or disposed of publicly) shall be held in some and or more of the under or lower rooms of my said dwelling house and no part of the goods shall be sold in any or either of the chambers or upper rooms on any account or on any pretence whatsoever

And I desire to be buried in a decent manner but with as much planning as consistently may be and to be carried to my grave by six religious poor men whose names are written by me on a paper enclosed in this my Will unto each of whom I give one guinea to be paid to them the same day I shall be buried immediately after my internment

All the rest and residue of my land tenements and hereditaments goods chattels real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever not hereinbefore by me given and disposed of after payment and discharge of my debts legacies and funeral expenses I give devise and bequeath unto my niece Catherine Hayne widow of Jonathan Hayne late of the city of London apothecary deceased her heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever

And I do hereby make and constitute the said Catherine Hayne sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking by former Wills by me made and ratify this alone to be my last

In witness whereof I the said Amy Huish have to this my last Will set my hand and seal this sixteenth day of July one thousand eight hundred and one Amy Huish

Signed sealed published and declared by the said testatrix Amy Huish as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who subscribed our names as witnesses thereto in her presence and at her request and in the presence of each other Elizth Pannell Lydia Gamlen Thomas Pannell

Whereas I Amy Huish of Cullompton in the county of Devon widow have in and by my last Will and Testament bearing date the sixteenth day of July now last past given (amongst other things) unto my niece Honor Lewis widow the sum of one hundred pounds now I do give unto the said Honor Lewis the further sum of one hundred pounds to be paid at the same time as the first mentioned hundred pounds is by my said Will directed to be paid

And I do hereby desire and direct that this may be a codicil to be annexed unto and taken as part of my said last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of November one thousand eight hundred and one Amy Huish

This Will was proved at London with a codicil the eighteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven before the worshipful Samuel Pesrce Parson doctor of laws surrogate of the Right honorable Sir William Wynne Knight doctor of laws master keeper or commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Catherine Hayne widow the niece of the deceased and sole executrix named in the said Will to whom administration of all and singular the good chattels and credits of the said deceased was granted she having been first sworn duty to administer
