In the name of God Amen I William Joyce of Collumpton in the countie of Devon taylor being sick of body but of good and perfect memorie doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testamonie in manner and forme following
First I give and bequeath to William Joyce the sonne of Roger Joyce my brother my serge doublett and breeches
I give to Richard Toogood my old coate
Item I give to Agnis Hill one shilling
Item I give to John Hill my best stocking
More I give and bequeath to Thomas Whithares three children twelve pence apiece
More I give to Christopher Marome my best hatt and to Agnis Marome my selle
All the rest of my goods and chattells and money and all that I have I give and bequeath to Margaret my wife whome I make my whole and sole executrix and she is to burie my bodie and pay theise my legacies
In witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale in the presence of those William Joyce the mark of Richard Hill Thomas Osmond
This Will was proved at Westminster the first day of July in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred fifty and foure before the Judges for probate of Wills and granting Administration lawfully authorized by the oath of Margaret Joyce the relict and sole executrix named in the above written Will to whome administration of all and singular the goods chattells and debts of the said deceased was committed she being first legally sworne by virtue of a Commission truly and fathfully to administer the same
