Proved in the Archdeaconry Court of Exeter 13th December 1853

Appeared personally Grace Beer of Alphington in the county of Devon widow the sole executrix named in the last Will and Testament with a codicil attached of Ann Kenwood formerly of Cullompton in the said county of Devon but late of Alphington aforesaid widow deceased who died on the 3rd day of November 1853

This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Kenwood of Cullompton in the county of Devon widow which I publish and declare as follows

I give and devise unto Amelia Creasy the wife of William Creasy of Starcross in the said county cooper all those cottages or dwelling houses garden and premises with the appurtenances situate lying and being in Woodbury in the said county and now occupied by Abraham Green to hold the same unto the said Amelia Creasy her heirs executors administrators and assigns during all my estate and interest therein

All my monies and securities for money goods chattels and effects whatsoever and wheresoever which I shall die possessed of I give unto my sister Grace Beer of Alphington near Exeter widow for her absolute use and benefit subject nevertheless to the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and I appoint the said Grace Beer sole executrix of this my Will hereby revoking all other Wills

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty fourth day of August one thousand eight hundred and fifty two

Signed published and declared by the said Ann Kenwood as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses

This is a codicil to the last Will and Testament of me Ann Kenwood late of Cullompton but now of Alphington in the county of Dublin widow and which Will bears date on or about the twenty fourth day of August one thousand eight hundred and fifty two

Now I do declare this to be a codicil to my said Will and do hereby give and bequeath unto my nephew William Beer son of my sister Grace Beer and to Rebecca Westcombe now residing in the parihs of Saint James in the county of the city of Exeter the sum of ten pounds each and I direct that the same shall be paid by my executrix within six months after my decease out of the proceeds of my residuary personal estate and in all other respects I ratify and confirm my said Will

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the eighteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty three

Signed by the said Ann Kenwood the testatrix as and for a codicil to her last Will and Testament and such signature acknowledged by the testatrix in the presence of us being present together at the same time with her who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other subscribe our names as witnesses
