Proved 18th March 1853 in the Archdeaconry Court of Exeter

Appeared personally Elizabeth Manfield of Cullompton in the county of Devon widow the sole executrix named in the last Will and Testament of John Manfield late of Cullompton aforesaid yeoman deceased who died on the 27th day of November 1852

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Manfield of Cullompton in the county of Devon yeoman which I publish and declare as follows

I give and bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth Manfield all my life and dead stock and all my goods chattels monies and effects on my farm and lands I now occupy called Bathills Priory and other my land and premises wheresoever situate and in the farm dwelling house and premises on the said farm or elsewhere of what nature or kind soever which I shall die possessed of

To hold the same for her absolute use benefit and disposal subject to the payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses

And I appoint my said wife sole executrix of this my Will hereby revoking all other Wills in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty third day of November one thousand eight hundred and fifty two

Signed published and declared by the said Manfield the testator in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses
