Proved in the Principal Registry of the Lord Bishop of Exeter the 11th of July 1825
John May of Cullompton in the county of Devon whitesmith the sole executor named in the Will of George May late of Cullompton aforesaid whitesmith deceased who died March last
This is the last Will and Testament of me George May of Cullompton in in the county of Devon whitesmith
First I give devise and bequeath unto Mary May my daughter the sum of twenty pounds
I give devise and bequeath unto my son George May the sum of twenty pounds
I give devise and bequeath unto Betsy Goodhind my daughter the wife of John Goodhind the sum of twenty pounds
I also give devise and bequeath unto the said Betsy Goodhind my clock and case in the kitchen and also my watch
Which said legacies I direct shall be paid within one year after my decease by my executor hereinafter named
And as to all the rest residue of my estate and effects goods and chattels whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality the same may be and not hereinbefore given after payment of my just debts legacies and funeral expenses and the expense of proving this my Will I do hereby give and bequeath the same unto my son John May whom I hereby appoint sole executor of this my Will
In witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this twenty third day of January one thousand eight hundred and twenty five
