Proved March 28th 1845 in the Archdeaconry court of Exeter

Appeared personally John Were of Halberton in the county of Devon yeoman the sole executor named in the last Will and Testament of Dorothy Mitchell late of Cullompton in the county of Devon widow deceased who died on the 10th day of November 1845

This is the last Will and Testament of me Dorothy Mitchell of Cullompton in the county of Devon widow

I give and bequeath unto my brother John Were of Halberton in the said county of Devon farmer all my household goods and furniture monies security for money and every thing that I may die possessed of subject nevertheless to the payment of my just debts of funeral expenses and the expense of proving this my Will

And lastly I do hereby nominate constitute appoint him the said John Were my brother whole and sole executor of this my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I the said Dorothy Mitchell have to this my last Will and Testament subscribed my hand the fourth day of December one thousand eight hundred and forty three

Signed published and declared by the said testatrix Dorothy Mitchell as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each ever have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto
