The last Will and Testament of Thomas Morgan of the parish of Collompton in the countie of Devon weaver being sick of body but perfect in memory doth give and bequeath these his goods as followeth the second day of June Anno domini one thousand six hundred fifty
Imprimis I give and bequeath to my sonne Humphrey Morgan one broad loome standing in the house of my sonne in lawe Edward Thorne of this parish and to have the said loome immediately after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Prudence one coverlid which said coverlid is now in her owne keeping
Item I give unto my two sonnes John and Joseph five pounds apiece of lawfull money of England and the sayd money to be for their mayntenance and to remayne in the hand or hands of them that shall have the keeping of them
And if Agnis my now wife shall put out the sayd children to any other man that then shee shall pay over the said summe or summes of money aforesayd unto the Rulers in trust for them within one quarter of a year next after
Item I make and ordayne Agnis my now wife executor and executrix of all the rest of my goods and chattels
Lastly I doe appoint George Morgan of Collompton and Humfrey Smith to be Rulers in trust to see this my Will performed by me Thomas Morgan witness me Alexander Bullpen signed by George Morgan
This Will was proved at London before Sir Nathaniel Brent knight Doctor of laws and Master or Keeper of the Prerogative court the third day of May in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred fiftie one by ye oath of Agnis Morgan the relict of the said deceased to whome administration of all the goods chattells and debts of ye sayd deceased which any manner or way concern the same Will was granted and committed she being first legally sworne by virtue of a commission in that behalfe formally issued well and truly to administer the same
