This is the last Will and Testament of me Sarah Morle late of Bridgwater in the county of Somerset but now of Cullompton in the county of Devon widow
Whereas Roger Morle late of Bridgewater aforesaid gentleman deceased (my late husband) did in and by his last Will and Testament bearing date on or about the twenty first day of November one thousand eight hundred and twenty four (after giving devising and bequeathing many pecuniary and specific legacies) give devise and bequeath unto me the said Sarah Morle one moiety or half part of all his residuary real and personal estates and effects for and during the term of my natural life and from and immediately after my decease he gave devised and bequeathed the same unto his son John Morle his heirs executors administrators and assigns now I hereby ratify and confirm such gift devise and bequest unto his said son John Morle and to whom I give devise and bequeath the same
I hereby give and bequeath all such other sum and sums of money and securities for money personal estate and effects whatsoever that I may die possessed of (my wearing apparel hereinafter by me disposed of excepted) unto my son the said John Morle his executors and administrators subject nevertheless to and with the payment of all my just debts funeral expenses and the expenses of proving this my Will
Upon trust for my son Richard Morle now in the island of Jamaica in the West Indies provided he returns for the purpose of residing in England to be paid to him within twelve months after his so residing in England
But in the event of my said son Richard not returning to England and living there for the space of twelve months as aforesaid then I hereby give and bequeath the same unto my said son John Morle his executors and admors
I hereby give and bequeath unto my granddaughter Mary Anne Bailey all my wearing apparel of what nature or kind soever
And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said son John Morle sole executor and residuary devisee and legatee of this my Will
In witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament contained in one sheet of paper set my hand and seal the sixth day of March one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Sarah Morle the testatrix as for and to be her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereunto
