Proved 1st Decr 1843 in the Archdeaconry Court of Exeter

Appeared personally Robert Nosworthy the elder of the parish of Manaton in the county of Devon yeoman a principal creditor in the goods chattles and credits of James Nichols the younger late of Cullompton in the said county of Devon druggist and grocer deceased who died on the 26th day of September 1843

This is the last Will and Testament of me James Nichols the younger of Cullompton in the county of Devon druggist

I give and devise all my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my dear wife Mary Nichols her heirs executors administrators and assigns

And I hereby appoint my said wife sole executrix and residuary devisee and legatee of this my Will and I hereby revoke all other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this present writing to be my only last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year below mentioned

Signed by the said James Nichols the younger the testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the joint presence of us who in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto this twenty eighth day of July one thousand eight hundred and forty one
