In the name of God Amen the nynth day of June in the yeare of our Lord God according tothe computation of one thousand six hundred fiftie and six I William Norman of Mutterton in the parish of Collumpton in the county of Devon yeoman being weake of bodie but perfect of memory thanks to Almightie God I give and bequeath my soule to Almightie God my maker and by the meritts of his only sonne Jesus Christ my Redeemer to inherit the kingdom of Heaven and my body to be buried in the churchyard of Collumpton to be buried in a christian burial

This my last Will and Testament made the day and yeare aforesaid in manner and forme following

Imprimus I give to Michael Richards my kinsman five pounds after my decease which is now in the hands of the said Michael Richards my kinsman

Item I give and bequeath to William Radford my servant all my wearing apparell and husbandry tools which belongeth to a laborer and that now [ ] of cloth contained four or five yards in length and alreadie provided

All the residue of my goods and chattells not before herein given and bequeathed I give and bequeath to Thomas Blackaller my sonne in lawe whome I make my whole and sole executor of this my last Will and Testament I doe desire John Combe to be my ruler and superadvisor or to see this my Will performed in manner aforesaid

This Will was proved att London the three and twentieth day of the month of December in the year of our Lord God one thousand six hundred fiftie and nyne before the judges for Probate of Wills and granting Administrations lawfully authorized by the oath of Thomas Blackaller the sonne in law and sole and only executor named in the above written last Will and Testament of the deceased to whom administration of all and singular the goods chattells and debts of the said deceased was granted and committed he being first legally sworn by virtue of commission truly and faythfully to administer the same
