Proved in the Registry of the Archdeaconry of Exeter 12th of November 1822
Henry Palmer of Bradninch in the county of Devon gentleman one of the executors named in the last Will and Testament of Hannah Palmer late of Cullompton in the said county of Devon widow who died on the twenty seventh day of September 1821
This is the last Will and Testament of me Hannah Palmer of Cullompton in the county of Devon widow
I give unto my son John Palmer the sum of eighty pounds
I give unto my son William Palmer the sum of ten pounds
I give unto my sons Henry Palmer and Joseph Palmer the sum of one pound each which said several legacies I direct to be paid within three months after my decease
I give unto my daughter Juliana the wife of John Monday the framed and glazed portrait of myself
Also I direct my executor to give unto the servant who shall be living with me at the time of my death a proper suit of mourning
All the rest residue and remainder of my monies securities for money goods chattles and effects of what nature or kind soever after payment of my just debts funeral expenses and the expense of proving this my Will I give and bequeath unto the said William Palmer and Henry Palmer
In trust to divide the same as soon as conveniently may be after my decease between my four daughters Hannah the wife of William Hutchings Elizabeth Godfrey widow Bathsheba the wife of Hazel Coppelstone and the said Juliana Monday share and share alike for their own sole use and benefit separate and apart from their husbands and their receipts alone shall be sufficient discharges for the same
And in case any or either of my said children (sons or daughters) shall happen to die before his her or their legacy or legacies or share of residue shall become payable then I direct the same to be paid to the child or children respectively of him her or them so dying share and share alike
And I nominate constitute and appoint the said William Palmer and Henry Palmer executors in trust of this my Will and I hereby revoke and make void all former Wills by me made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twelfth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one the mark of Hannah Palmer
Signed sealed published and declared by the said testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto in her presence and in the presence of each other
