Will of Mary Radford of Cullompton, Spinster

This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Radford of Cullompton in the county of Devon spinster

First I give and bequeath unto my unto my brother Henry Radford of Brimbottom in the parish of Halbaton in the said county all my monies and securities for money and all interest due thereon my wearing apparel and everything that I may die possessed of in trust as follows

I give and bequeath unto my mother Frances Radford of Cullompton aforesaid the sum of twenty five pounds

I give and bequeath unto my brother William Radford of Cullompton aforesaid the sum of twenty pounds

I give and bequeath unto Fanny Radford wife of my said brother Henry, Mary Radford wife of my said brother William and my sister Elizabeth wife of John Tozer of the city of Exeter in the said county all my wearing apparel to be divided between them share and share alike

And I direct that they said legacies above given and bequeathed shall be paid within twelve months after my decease

And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my monies and effects I give and bequeath unto Henry Radford my brother and trustee after payment of my just debts funeral expenses and the expense of proving this my will

And lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said brother Henry Radford executor in trust of this my Will and also that he shall retain all his costs charges damages and expenses out of the effects in him vested in and by this my Will

In witness whereof I the said Mary Radford have to this my last Will and Testament subscribed my hand this sixth day of January one thousand eight hundred and forty three Mary Radford

Signed published and declared by the said testatrix Mary Radford as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto Harriet Hart Henry Hill jr

Proved at London 28th February 1843 before the judge by the oath of Henry Radford the brother the sole executor to whom admon was granted having been first sworn by commission duly to administer
