In the name of God Amen the tenth daye of June in the thousand six hundred and third yeare of our Lord God I James Thomas of Colompton in the countie of Devon yeoman beinge sick in body but of sound and perfect memory (prayse be to Allmightie God doe make my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following

First I commend my soule to the Allmightie my creator and redeemer and my body to be buried in the churchyard of Colompton

Item I give to the poore twelvepence.

Item I give to the church of Colompton twelve pence

Item I give to William Langford of West Buckland in the countye of Somersett my onlie cloak

Item my will is and I doe constitute and appoynte Judithe Thomas my wife my full and whole executrix of all my goods and chattells

Wytnesses at the makynge hereof John Cope Agnes Cope Agnes Copp
