Administrators William Sanders senr of Heavitree Devon yeoman and John Sanders of Poltimore yeoman (no executor being appointed)
In the name of God Amen I Abraham Turner of the parish of Cullompton in the county of Devon farmer being of a sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God for the same do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)
First and principally I commend my soul to Almighty God who gave it me hoping through the merits of my blessed Saviour Jesus Christ to have a full pardon and remission of all my sins and to inherit everlasting life and my body I commit to the Earth to be decently interred in the churchyard of Pinhoe in a plain decent manner and my will is that all my just debts legacies and funeral expenses be fully paid off and discharged by my executors in trust hereinafter named
And my will is that my now present wife Jane Turner to have the whole power and management of my burial and to have bills or cash of my executors to discharge the same in fourteen days after my decease
I also give to my wife Jane Turner one clear annuity of twenty pounds per year and every year during her natural life free and clear of any outgoings whatever I also give to my sd wife the bed on which I lie a round table and a square one six chairs and all my wearing apparel
But if my said wife should marry again then the above annuity to cease from payments immediately, the payment of the said above annuity to begin from the first quarter after my decease my trustees to have full power of raising or levying the same annuity of twenty pounds per year out of the interest of my monies which I have on bonds or notes or mortgages in whose hands it shall or may be found for the whole and sole benefit of my said wife the annuity to be paid quarterly
I give to my son John Turner for fields of land called the Furzparks and one field called the Dung close and a little orchard part of the above premises the whole together about seventeen acres in the parish of Pinhoe during the interest that I have in it for his life
After that I give the same fields to my grandson John Turner during the life interest
I give Jane and Mary Osmond five pounds each in six months after my decease
I give to my granddaughters Mary Ann and Elizabeth Turner fifty pounds each with the interest when they shall arrive to age of twenty one years
All the rest residue and remainder of monies and securities for money whether mortgages bonds or notes or otherwise in whose hands the same shall be found I give unto William Sanders senior of Heavitree and John Sanders Poltimore upon trust nevertheless to and for the whole and sole use of my grandson John Turner and for his use only but if he should die before he is twenty one years of age then I give the same property to his two sisters share and share alike the trustees shall be at devising their trusteeship
And I do hereby revoke all former Wills by me made In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal unto this my last Will and Testament written on one sheet of paper this first day of January one thousand eight hundred and thirteen

Signed sealed published and declared by the testator to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who subscribed our names as witnesses at the request and in the presence of the testator and of each other
