In the name of God Amen Anno the third daye of Aprill Anno dom 1560 I Agnes Water wedow sicke of bodye but hole and pfecte of mynde and memorye make and declare my last Will and Testament as foloweth
First I gyve my soule unto allmightie God my body to be buryed in ye yiale of Saint John in the churche of Columpton
I gyve to the building of the tower of Colompton vjl viijs
I gyve to ye poore xs
Also I gyve to my sonne Sir John More knight a bason and cover of sylver [ ] gelt in grete standinge cuppe with cover and a cupe gilt the nexte to the grete coupe my gretest salt with a cover gelt a dozen of sylver spoones of the xii apostells my greate [ ] cheste a great table borde ij fether bedd a pare of fustians two of my gretest crokes a great brouche with [ ] two great anderaines
Also I gyve unto my nephew Humphri More my great cowe and her calfe
I gyve to my nephew George More my other cowe and vis viijd
I gyve to my nephew Alexander More a yearlinge
More I gyve to my daughter Emlinge one hundreth pounds to be payed at here daye of marriage
Also I gyve to my daughter Emlinge one coupe of silver gilte and ij heiffers
Also I gyve my daughter Lucy Moore my best smocke and my best raile and my best hat of satten and a petycote yarded and my best furred gowne
I gyve to my niece Mary More a smocke ij [ ] ij partlets and ij payre of ruffes
I gyve to my sonne George More xl and also I gyve to my sonne Roye More xl
I give to the vicar of Colompton vijs viij d
The residue of my goods not bequethed nor willed I gyve to my daughter Emline whome I make my hole executrix she did dispose them at her plesure and I make my sonne Sir John More knight my overseer to see my will fulfilled
