In the name of God Amen I Charles Watson of Collumpton in the county of Devon innholder being but weake of body but of perfect and sound memory (praised be God almighty) for it doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following

First of all I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of Almighty God my maker whome I believe in and through the meritts of the bitter death and passion of my blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will be graciously pleased to receive into mercy and favour and my body to the christian burial in such decent order and manner as shall be thought fit by my executrix hereafter named

Also I give unto my sonnes John Watson Charles Watson William Watson and Robert Watson twentie shillings a piece to be to them paid by my executrix hereafter named within two yeares next after my decease

Also I give unto Ellinor Gyres wife of William Gyres and Mary Watson my daughters twenty shillings apiece to be to them paid by my executrix in two yeares next after my decease

Also I give and bequeath unto Jonas Watson my sonne twenty shillings to be paid by my executrix within four yeares next after my decease

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughters Sarah Elizabeth and Peter Watson my sonne and Alice my daughter twentie shillings a piece to be to them payd by my executive within six yeares next after my decease

Lastly I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Elianor Watson all the rest of my goods and chattells whatsoever whome I make the whole and sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament urther my will and desire is that Edward Axe of Collompton aforesaid my loving friend will be Ruler in trust praying him to ayding and assisting to my said executrix to see this my last Will and Testament duely and timely executed

In witness hereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the twelvth day of July in the year of our Lord God one thousand six hundred fiftie and eight Charles Watson

Executed signed and published in the presence of us John Prowse Alexander Bulpen

This Will was proved at London seventeenth day of the month of January in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred fiftie and eight before the Judges for Probate of Wills and granting Administrations lawfully authorised by the oath of Ellianor Watson the relict and sole and only executive named in the above written Will to whome administration of all and singular the goods chattells and debts of the said deceased was granted and committed she being first legally sworne by forme of a commission truly and faythfully to administer the same
