Proved in the Registry of the Archdeaconry of Exeter 7th of February 1823

Charlotte Webber of Cullompton in the county of Devon spinster the sole executrix named in the last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Webber late of Cullompton aforesaid widow who died on the third day of September 1822

In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth Webber widow of the parish of Cullompton in the county of Devon being weak of body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God for it calling to mind the mortality of the body make and ordain this my last Will and Testament

And as touching my worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give and dispose of the same in the following manner

First I give and bequeath unto my beloved sister Ann Forward the wife of Thomas Forward of the parish of Crediton in the county of Devon husbandman one feather bed with the bedding bedstead and furniture likewise two common chairs and a dressing table I likewise give and bequeath to the said Ann Forward my beloved sister a suit of mourning

Also I give and bequeath to my well beloved daughter Charlotte Webber whom I likewise constitute appoint and ordain the sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament all the money or monies placed in any publick fund or funds becoming due to me together with all my household goods movable effects (except the articles already bequeathed to Anne Forward my beloved sister as aforementioned) and debts

And I do hereby constitute appoint and ordain William Whitby of the parish of Cullompton in the county of Devon watch and clockmaker William Melhuish of the parish of Cullompton in the county of Devon miller as trustees to this my last Will and Testament in case of the death of my beloved daughter Charlotte Webber before she the said Charlotte Webber shall become of age and empowered by the laws of these realms to make her own Will and Testament

I give and bequeath to Ann Forward the wife of Thomas Forward aforementioned Sarah the wife of James Tucker of the parish of Tiverton confectioner and Thomas Harris in the parish of Crediton in the county of Devon cordwainer the whole of my household goods moveable effects debts to be equally divided between the aforesaid Ann Forward Sarah Turner and Thomas Harris

And I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every former Testaments Wills legacies bequests and executors by me in any ways before named willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two

Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said Elizabeth Webber widow to be her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereto subscribed our names
